About Addis Ketema

Addis Ketema Carepoint is located in the region of Awassa, Ethiopia (about 275 km south of Addis Ababa, the capital city). We work alongside Addis Ketema Church, which is located near an overpopulated slum where access to clean water and adequate sanitation is difficult to come by. Many adults and children in the community work as laborers and learn less than $1 per day. Sadly, an education is a privilege that only a minority of children in the area can experience. Addis Ketema Church serves as a drop-in center, a safe place where orphans and vulnerable children can come for assistance and care. The church has a development committee that supports discipleship and support for the children and their families. With your support, the children at Addis Ketema will have the opportunity to grow physically, educationally, spiritually, and emotionally. Your sponsored child will also have the benefit of knowing that someone cares and prays for them.
